Threading, Brows & Lashes
If you have any other questions, feel free to stop by the clinic for a no-obligation consultation. You’re also welcome to come in for a patch test on the area you’d like to have hair removed from or tinted — this way, you can be sure you're not one of the few who may experience a reaction or allergy.
THREADING
Here you can read questions and answers about threading.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU GET THREADING DONE?
About every 4–6 weeks, depending on hair growth, hair thickness, and individual needs.
WHERE DOES THREADING ORIGINATE FROM?
Threading is thousands of years old and has been practiced by women all over the world.
It’s hard to say whether it originally comes from the Middle East, India, or Egypt, as it’s an ancient technique passed down from mother to daughter in various cultures.
HOW OLD SHOULD YOU BE TO START HAIR REMOVAL WITH THREADING?
You can start threading whenever hair growth becomes bothersome — age doesn’t matter, it depends on personal preference.
IS THREADING BETTER THAN FACIAL WAXING?
In our experience, waxing can be harsh on the sensitive skin of the face. Not everyone can tolerate the heat and chemicals in wax. In the worst cases, it can cause allergic reactions or burns.
We always recommend threading because it is gentle and mild on the skin, and suitable for all skin types.
CAN THREADING CAUSE BUMPS ON THE FACE?
Yes, some areas of the face are more sensitive than others — such as the cheeks and chin — and may react slightly after treatment.
AFTERCARE
Let your skin rest. Avoid scrubbing or picking, as the skin will be very open and sensitive after treatment.
